Achour Koceila is a citizen of Algeria who is a State Engineer in Agronomic Sciences, having completed his University Curriculum in Agronomic Sciences, Specialized in Agrifood Industry Technologies; currently, he holds the position of Head of Agrochemistry and Technology Service at the level of the Central Laboratory Department within the Technical Institute of Fruit Arboriculture and Vine, an Institute under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR, Algeria) where he has been a civil servant for 8 years after taking on the positions of manufacturing process manager, quality controller and quality supervisor respectively at the private sector level in three agri-food industries. In addition to being a University Expert in the tasting of virgin olive oils, M Achour is also Head of the virgin olive oil tasting jury. As Head of the Agrochemicals and Technology Department, practicing in the field of the evaluation of the quality of the fruits of the fruit species which come under the experimentation and the evaluation of the quality of virgin olive oils, M Achour contributes in the national virgin olive oil tasting panel.
